All investors have capital available for investment, but only a few of them
have experience with their own business. Unlike investment banks
and financial institutions, we have experience with building a successful
multinational company in the fields of pharmaceutics, beverages
and agricultural commodities.

During the 25 years we spent building Walmark up from scratch to a turnover
of 2.8 billion CZK, with 900 employees, branches in 9 countries and exports
to a further 30 countries, we gained a huge amount of experience and are
therefore able to support the projects we invest in not only via an infusion
of capital, but also through mentoring and consulting on issues concerned
with building a local or global company.

The money we invest is mainly our own, and therefore we approach every
project with a great feeling of responsibility. We are entrepreneurs, and
we can understand other entrepreneurs and their problems. We are not
a “corporate structure” – when evaluating new projects, we mainly consider
the quality of the people behind the project, as well as its marketing, rather
than things like numbers, budgets and unnecessary bureaucracy.
